Chancery quarto; printed in black and red; Latin text surrounded by German translation; a1 verso: 44 lines of German translation (167 x 124 mm), 27 lines of Latin text (151 mm). The German translation is printed in the outer and lower margins; types: 180 (Latin title and headings in calendar), 112 (Latin text, colophon), 104 (foliation), 92 (German title), 76 (German text, calendar, and register), 61(?) (letters numbering verses); woodcut initials.

Early/contemporary Latin prayer inscription, with German caption, on pi2 recto. Early Latin prayer inscriptions on b5 verso, b6 recto, and b7 recto. German inscription on o6 verso. Purchased in March, 1937.
BINDING: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy Q.405.71 quarterbound in early/contemporary brown leather and wooden boards. Spine unlabeled. Brass clasp and catch plate (possibly later) with initials "BH" and profile portrait stamped onto clasp. Leather thumb index tabs. Early paper manuscript waste front flyleaf. Some gatherings with parchment manuscript waste sewing guards.
